We are one of several organisations nationwide delivering 24/7 across over 80 NZ High Schools, SALT currently provide 7 Youth Workers into Orewa College. The programme is designed to see young people thrive through positive mentoring and relationship building.

Primary Project
We have designed this programme to compliment the 24/7 initiative into primary schools, SALT currently provide 4 Youth Workers into six local primary schools.

These programmes are school based initiatives that we facilitate to assist students in dealing positively with:
Behavioural issues known as our six session ‘Change Up’ programme
Developing emotional resilience known as our six session ‘Equip’ programme
Frameworks that deal with loss and grief known as our 8 week ‘Seasons’ programme
Operation Reach Foodbank
Providing practical support to families in need through provision of food boxes and preprepared meals.

Orewa Christmas Day Community Lunch
A Christmas Day lunch for approximately 200 people who would otherwise spend Christmas alone.
Move and Groove
A weekly groove session for adults with disabilities, some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

We've recently opened a fledgling social enterprise with the mandate to repurpose, reclothe, and rejuvenate with all proceeds going straight back out to serve our Hibiscus Coast community.
